Once upon a time, I was a tenured academic librarian, owned my own home, and planned to stay right where I was until I retired.

And then, I realized that, even though my life looked great on paper, I just wasn’t happy. And, quite frankly, as an outspoken, independent, neurodivergent woman who cares a lot about social justice, I was pretty worried about where I saw US politics heading.

After some major soul-searching, I decided to make a drastic change.

Part of that was the decision to become a professional coach. I stayed in place, “quiet quitting”, while I completed a training program that’s accredited by the International Coaching Federation.

And then, I quit my job, sold my house, and moved to Portugal!

I absolutely love my life here, but it is a HUGE transition. And I say that with experience moving half-way across the US several times – from Houston to St. Louis to Virginia and back to Missouri, and then to Atlanta. I thought I knew what I was in for, but this has been the biggest move of my life.

If you’re also making a huge transition – whether you’re at the beginning stages of getting ready to move abroad or have landed and are working through adjusting to your new home – let’s talk about how I can help you make this the best move of your life.
